Step 1: Prep Your Lips
Your lips should be prepped before adding any product to them. Start by exfoliating and buffing away dead skin using our Hey Sugar Lip Scrub and follow up with our Total BALMshell lip balm to keep your lips moisturized.
Step 2: Choose the Perfect Shade
Depending on your desired look, you can match your lip liner and your lipstick or choose one that’s slightly darker for an ombre lip effect.
Step 3: Line Your Lips
It’s crucial to take your time with this one, we want clean lines after all! Start lining your lips from your cupid’s bow working your way all around your pout, following the natural line of your lips.
Step 4: Fill Everything In
Now that your lips are lined, you can fill in with your lip liner or go in with a liquid lipstick or gloss! Make sure your lip liner is blended so there’s no hard lines when you apply your lipstick or lip gloss.
Step 5: Finishing Touches
Once you’re done filling your lips in, grab a small concealer brush so you can clean up any small imperfections! This step is completely optional but recommended if you want a defined look.
