High-Tech Beauty Gadgets You’ll Want to Try This Year

High-Tech Beauty Gadgets You’ll Want to Try This Year

Posted by Lanie Edwards on Feb 07, 2018

So it’s 2018… and although we don’t have flying cars yet, we do have some pretty impressive high-tech beauty gadgets that might finally lead us on the path to flawless skin. Whether you’re trying to clear acne scars or prevent wrinkles, these tools might help you achieve that while making you feel super futuristic and trendy at the same time!

1. HiMirror Smart Beauty Mirror

This first beauty gadget will definitely make you feel like you’re living in the year 3000. The HiMirror is your personal, at-home beauty and health consultant. It’s an interactive mirror that assesses your skin’s health – clarity, firmness, texture, and brightness, so that you can target problem areas and achieve your skin goals. It also has a historical tracking system that lets you view your daily progress! Now you can figure out which products are actually working for you, and which ones you should toss.

The HiMirror has so many features, so if you’d like to learn more, be sure to head to their website to check it out! It’s available on their website and Amazon, starting at $140.

2. Nurse Jamie Triangle Facial Beauty Tool

If you’ve never heard of Nurse Jamie, one of your favorite celebs has! Jamie is a skin care expert that has gained popularity with her unique skincare treatments and tools. Some of her high-profile clients include Kim Kardashian, Jessica Alba, Ashley Graham, and more. She’s a big fan of high-tech tools, and the Triangle Facial Beauty Tool is one of her most popular!

The TriAngle is a sonic face massager that helps to restore glow and firmness to the face by allowing products to absorb better into the skin. It targets the most problematic areas, and can be used with any moisturizer, eye cream or serum. It also has 2 massaging modes: normal or heated! You can purchase the TriAngle on her website here for $159, and check out her client’s testimonial videos on her Instagram.

3. Luxe Makeup Brush Cleaner

We all know cleaning our makeup brushes can be a pain, and we tend to put it off for as long as possible. Instead of all that manual labor (ugh), you can clean your brushes using the Luxe Makeup Brush Cleaner instead! This brush cleaner has a spinner that cleans and dries your makeup brushes for you in just a few seconds.

To use it, all you do is dip your makeup brush in the tool, spin to rinse, then spin to dry. It’s also USB rechargeable so it’ll never run out of battery. As a bonus, the tool includes a 140ml bottle of Luxe Makeup Cleaning solution to get you started. You can purchase this handy tool on Amazon for only $29.99!

4. Neutrogena Skin360 SkinScanner

This year, Neutrogena is launching the SkinScanner, a tool that slides on top of your iPhone to capture a magnified image of your skin. It has 12 LED lights, a 30x magnification lens, and a moisture sensor. The tool is combined with the SkinScanner app to read your skin’s moisture levels, pore size, and wrinkles by pressing the device onto your face.

The app then compares your skin to others in your age range, and assigns a score up to 100 for each category. Then, it shows an “Improve” button that leads you to which Neutrogena products you should use to treat these areas. While this sounds very cool and useful, the downside is that it currently only suggests Neutrogena products, and can only be used with an iPhone. The SkinScanner will officially be released this summer and will cost $50. Check out the promo video and read more about it here!
