3 Fun 4th of July looks with the LiveGlam Squad

Posted by LiveGlam on Jul 01, 2016

July 4th is just around the corner, Glammers! Do you know what we love so much about Independence Day (aside from summer sales, barbecues, and fireworks….), is that this holiday was created to celebrate! John Adams, 2nd US president and one of the Founding Fathers (in case your history is a little rusty.. 😉 ) wrote about this day in a letter to his wife,

“I am apt to believe that it will be celebrated by succeeding generations as the great anniversary festival…with pomp and parade, with shows, games, sports, bells, bonfires, and illuminations, from one end of this continent to the other, from this time forward forever more.”

Well, Mr. Adams, you were correct on all accounts! One thing he forgot to mention was the bomb makeup and style that comes with it! (silly president!) Don’t worry tho, beauties, we got that covered for ya. To inspire you for your long weekend, we created a few unique 4th of July makeup looks with some of our favorite products just for you!

Dewy Summer Glow

Our first face is perfect for daytime, channeling the summer vibe with a neutral, dewy look. A great opportunity to mix in some summer staples for 2016: funky highlight and a brown-nude lip! This is also an effortless base to transition from day-to-night festivities. Products include: Kheil’s SPF 30 Face Lotion (to protect that precious face of yours!), Becca Cosmetics Shimmering Skin Perfecter (dew it big), Anastasia Glow Kit, Benefit Hoola Bronzer (who else is as obsessed as we are?!), Anastasia Brow Definer in Chocolate, and (what is a summer makeup without…) Kylie Cosmetics Dolce K.

Pin-Up to Perfection

The second style we’ve got for you is a great night (or day!) look with a bold red lip and killer winged eyeliner. This sexy pin-up style is a beautiful way to commemorate an American tradition! Pop on that red bandana to really draw attention to your lips. Some products used in this look are: Nyx Liquid Skin Illuminator (keep it dewy this summer guys!), YSL Limited Edition Mini Touche Blush, Artist Couture Sugar Daddy Diamond Glow (our latest obsession!), Tartelette In Bloom Eyeshadow Palette, NYX Vinyl Liquid Liner and Pin-Up Tease Mascara, and (the essential…) Kat Von D Studded Lipstick in Gold Blooded.

Red, White, and Glitter

And the final look we’ve created for you (hey, that’s me!) is colorful and sparkly–in case you wanna give the fireworks a run for their money! This look is all about drama (and the only kind of drama we like– aside from the occasional LMN show!) A few essential products here are: Sugarpill Cosmetics Eyeshadows in Velocity and Love+, Beauté Basics Navy Gel Liner, Glitter Injections Baby Tears (and glitter adhesive!), Artist Couture Coco Bling Diamond Glow (seriously, obsessed!), ColourPop Cosmetics Climax Lippie StixGerard Cosmetics Slay All Day (because we slaying all night, too) and Powderroomd Lace Front wig in Glitz to top it all off.
