Looking to freshen’ up your style? Have some funky fun with your makeup and try some DIY eyeliner! This is my favorite way to add a pop of color to any look. And if you can’t find the perfect liner color, then you can make your own! It’s super easy and a fun way to transform any look.
Turn Your Eyeshadow into Eyeliner!
To whip up this easy DIY eyeliner- you first gotta pick your color! When choosing your shadows, I suggest going with ones that are highly pigmented. Loose pigments work amazing- but you use pressed eyeshadow as well. Now all you need is the secret ingredient! Grab some Inglot Duraline. This stuff is amazing! In addition to turning your shadows into liner, you can even add a few drops to your pomades and gel liners as they start to dry and transform them into creamy dreamy masterpiece.
As Easy As Scrape, Blend, Line
If you chose a pressed eyeshadow to make your liner with- then I suggest scraping some color off on a clean surface. If you put the Duraline directly into the shadow pan, it can affect the texture of your shadow and make it hard to use in the future! Mix in the Duraline 1 drop at a time. 1-2 drops is enough product to line both eyes and even pop in some rainbow freckles too. Make sure you add enough pigment or powder eyeshadow to make it opaque! The consistency will be a bit thicker than your typical liquid liner. Test your eye potion on the back of your hand before winging it!
Have Fun with Color!
The best thing about this fun DIY eyeliner is that you can make any color into a liner! It works amazing with bright eyeshadows and you can even go over your smokey eye with this liner. The possibilities are endless! This is also the same method I use when making my rainbow freckle looks.
Turn your eyes into a colorful surprise! Have some fun this summer with some bright DIY liner or some rainbow freckles to soak up the sun in. It’s 2018 boo- we livin’ our best life out! Unicorn dream realness! Let me know if you have any fun makeup hacks in the comments below!

My mama was a woman of the eighties when colored eyeliner was a huge thing and she taught me to use eye shadow with a wet brush and use that! Love this tip though!
