Best Blushes For Summer

Posted by LiveGlam on Jun 14, 2023

If there’s one makeup item that can bring life, youth, shape and glow to the face all at once, it’s blush! The right blush can even double as an eyeshadow for a monochrome look in a few seconds flat.

Summer calls for blushed, glowy, warmth-kissed skin. Here are the best blushes for summer to add to your collection!

RMS ReDimension Hydra Powder Blush in French Rose ($35)

This blush is so stunning and blends like a dream. It has a beautiful sheen without being glittery, but it’s glowy enough to mean you don’t always need to use highlight on top.

The formula is soft, buttery, and has zero kick-up when you swirl your brush. It’s super pretty when lightly buffed over the crease of the eye to tie in with the cheeks. The color French Rose is a true pink that would suit most skin tones and brings a fresh, youthful, feminine flush.

Rose Inc Cream Blush Refillable Cheek & Lip Color in Ophelia or Heliotrope ($32)

If you haven’t tried these impeccable cream blushes, I highly recommend them. Rose Inc is proving to be one of the most reliable brands with gorgeous packaging and high-performance formulas. These blushes blend seamlessly with a brush or fingers and can be built up from subtle to intense.

My favorite shades are Ophelia and Heliotrope, but there’s something for everyone. Ophelia is a true pink that works for every day and looks so pretty on the lips as well as the cheeks. Heliotrope is a soft apricot shade that is perfect for paler skin tones.

Use a microfiber brush to press into the cheeks, through the crease of the eyes, and a little along the hairline for a creamy, cohesive glow. Then, press onto the lips. One and done!

Too Faced Cloud Crush Blurring Blush ($29) in Tequila Sunset

These blushes went viral (especially the pale pink one) and they do deserve the hype. First of all, the packaging is mega cute and vintage-inspired! The blush itself is velvety, easy to blend, and smells nice (however, if you’re sensitive to fragrance I’d probably skip this one!).

Tequila sunset is a delicious orange shade that brings a toasty warmth to the skin. It works on my very pale, freckled skin but would also be stunning on olive, tan, and deeper tones.

Covergirl TruBlend So Flushed High Pigment Blush in Love Me ($11.99)

Okay, we’ve been dabbling in some pricey products, so let’s save some pennies and head to the drugstore. The Covergirl TruBlend blush in the shade Love Me is a gorgeous, warm peachy pink that blends seamlessly into the skin with your go-to blush brush. Buff over the cheeks, through the crease, and along the nose. Easy!

Maybelline Fit Me Blush in Berry 55 ($6.49)

Good old Maybelline, they rarely let me down! The FitMe blush is a classic powder blush you can rely on, and the shade Berry 55 is stunning on deep skin tones during the warmer months. The great thing about under $10 blushes is that if you love the formula, you can buy a couple more shades without the guilt!
