8. Freeze Those Lips
Did your lipstick break off again? Ugh! We hate when this happens, but the good news is that we know the ultimate makeup hack to make sure it is never a frustration again. Take the broken piece of lipstick, warm the bottom briefly with a flame and reattach it to the original piece. Put the entire tube of lipstick in the freezer for a few hours and voila! Fixed and ready for puckering.
9. Heat Your Lashes For More Volume
Next time you need your mascara to really show, heat up your eyelash curler with a blow dryer for a few seconds before curling your lashes. The added head will make your lashes curl up easier, and will make them look more noticeable.

10. Turn Your Lipstick Into Lip Balm
If you are at the end of your lipstick tube, you are in dire need of this amazing makeup hack. Melt down your lipstick, either heating it (gently) with a blow dryer or by setting the tube in warmed water for a few seconds, and pour the melted product into a flat lip balm tube like this. Ta-dah! You now have an easy to use lipstick balm to take everywhere.
11. Make Your Own Lip Gloss
If you love loose pigments like we do and have ever thought one of yours would make a good lip color, here’s a makeup tip for you. Use a small amount of either petroleum jelly, vaseline, or coconut oil (for a more natural product) and mix it with your loose pigment. Apply to lips with your fingers or a lip brush, and done! Be sure to check that your pigment is safe for use on lips before doing this!
12. Get More Out Of Your Liner
We all love pencil liner, but sometimes you need a liquid or a gel to really get the job done. To use your pencil liner as a gel, heat it up with a blow dryer for a few seconds before applying to your eyes. This is one of our favorite makeup hacks, and it is one of the easiest too!
13. Blot In The Bathroom
Run out of blotting papers again, just as you were headed out the door to happy hour? Make a quick trip to the bathroom and use a sheet of toilet paper as the in-a-pinch substitute for all your makeup blotting needs. Or, if you’re already out and about and notice some shine, try using toilet seat covers instead!
14. Get More Out Of Your Foundation
If you use foundation or liquid makeup that comes in a tube, you know the struggle of getting down to the last few squeezes of product. To make your life easier, use this makeup hack – squeeze all the product toward the end of the tube, snip off the top, and use a popsicle stick (or your fingers) to scoop out the last bits of product.
15. Pin Your Way To Fast Lashes
Eyelash glue is not the easiest or most exciting thing in the world to apply. It can be time consuming and it is a hassle we wish we didn’t have to deal with. Luckily, this makeup hack is perfect for dealing with glue that won’t cooperate. Apply the glue onto the end of a bobby pin and then use the bobby pin as an almost brush to glide the glue across the lash faster. Awesome, right?
