Memorial Day weekend is here! We all know what that means- pools are open and it’s basically summer as far as we’re concerned. We can reflect on all of our soldiers while we sip margaritas and soak in some sun. If you’re trying to stay snatched all summer, I know the struggle can be real. There’s no need to be fear the pool- I’m gonna hook you up with my favorite waterproof makeup and tips to keep the glam going!
A Snatched Face Fears No Liquids!
Start by getting your face on fleek with some waterproof makeup. My top 2 favorites are the MUFE Full Cover Camouflage Cream and the MAC Pro Longwear Waterproof Foundation. The great thing about both of these products is that you can use them for foundation and concealer! On hot summer days or a trip to the pool, I find that using a small amount of a full-cover waterproof foundation and blending it out gives you gorgeous skin that will withstand anything! The more cream you put on your face, the opportunity you give it to smudge up. So just apply thicker coverage to hide any unwanted blemishes or discoloration and blend the rest out to a smooth and flawless finish.
Keep Your Eyes on the Prize in Rain or Shine
You can rock your favorite sexy cat eye or smokey liner poolside with a little bit of makeup magic! Grab a waterproof liner like Urban Decay 24/7 Pencil and you can have a smokey eye, shimmery lid, or deepened crease by smudging it out. If you’re really into some wizardry, the get the MUFE Aqua Seal. You can mix this with any eye product and make it waterproof! Take me swimming on any date babe, just go and slay underwater like a mermaid.
Set Your Face and Slay for Days
The final piece of this waterproof potion is to set your face with something that stays! Take a page from the stage and grab some theater makeup to keep everything in place! Kryolan fixing powder proves that (somehow!?) powder can actually be waterproof. Set everything on your whole face in place to really pump up the longevity- I’m talkin’ brows, eyes, lips- everything! Then finish off by misting Ben Nye Final Seal waterproof setting spray on top! Hold the bottle far enough from your face so you just feel a light mist and mist the heck out of it. Get it wet without dripping and fan your face dry. Just plan on wearing this face for a few days cause baby you’re set!
