The Best Pink Lipstick for Your Skin Tone! 

Back in May, we gave you the best red lipstick to rock with your skin tone, and now it’s time to let the pinks shine for the summertime! Pink lipstick can be a gorgeous pop of color on any skin tone. But, like any lippie, not all shades perfectly compliment everyone. To look like a total bad beach all summer, check out which pink LiveGlam Lippie Club shade will look the best on you!

Identify your undertone!

Knowing the undertone of your skin is the key to always slaying the perfect shade. If you read our red lippie post, you should already know what your undertone is. But, just in case, let’s do a little refresh!

The undertone of your skin can either be cool (pink), neutral, or warm (yellow). The easiest way to tell this is by your veins. Take a look at your wrist. If your veins look more blue or purple, then you have a cool undertone. If they look green, you’re warm. If you can’t tell or they’re a mixture, you’re likely neutral! You can also tell by your preference in jewelry, just reference the chart below!

Also, no matter how tan you get in the summer, your undertone will always remain the same!

Cool Undertone

If you have a cool undertone, you likely have fair skin and can channel your inner Barbie by going for true pink and blue-toned lippies. Slaylor, a hot pink from our current July LiveGlam Lippie Club collection, or Pink Cherry, a satin fuchsia from our August 2017 collection are perfect for bolder pinks. Paris from our April 2017 collection is great for a more subtle everyday pink!

Neutral

Warm Undertone

With a warm undertone, you should mainly stick to warmer pinks like corals, peaches, or nudes, and stray away from blue-toned lippies that will wash you out! The last thing you want to look is ashy in the summer, let alone any season. For the perfect peachy pink, try Happily Ever After from our September 2017 collection, or Nauti from our current July Collection for a more true peach. If you want a more nude-toned rose shade, Bride to Be from our May 2018 Collection will be your new go-to!
