How to Use:
Mix two to three tablespoons of apple cider vinegar in a cup of water. After you wash your hair with shampoo, use the solution as a rinse, then wait five minutes and wash it off with cold water. Be sure to repeat this two or three times a week.
Fake and Bake
Sometimes we just gotta fake it til we make it and baking soda will help us do just that. This DIY remedy is perfect for unwashed hair. Baking soda absorbs oil, balances your scalp’s pH level and prevents any foul smell.
How to Use:
Mix some baking soda in some water to create a paste. Apply it on damp hair and leave it on for about five minutes, then wash your hair with warm water. Try to do this once a week. You can also use baking soda as a dry shampoo. This is one heck of a remedy for unwashed hair. All you have to do is sprinkle some baking soda on your hands, rub it all over your hair and brush it out!
Hair Cocktail
Who said you’re scalp doesn’t need a little vodka? No one! Vodka is an amazing tonic for oily hair. It balances the scalp and closes your pores that secrete oil which makes it a great solution for greasy hair!
How to Use:
Mix one cup of vodka with two cups of water. After you shampoo your hair, rinse your hair with the vodka mix and leave it on for about five to ten minutes. You will want to use this treatment once a week for the best results.
Tea Time
Black tea is one of the best solutions for greasy hair. It contains tannic acid which levels the scalp and tighten the pores.
How to Use:
Add two tablespoons of black tea leaves to a cup of water and bring to boil. After your strain the leaves, let it cool down for a bit until it’s lukewarm. Pour the astringent on your scalp and hair, then leave it on for five minutes. You should repeat this two to three times a week.
