If the Met Gala wasn’t already enough to make you drool- then grab a napkin because this year’s event was hosted by 3 powerful women and we got some serious face in these looks! 2018 Met Gala was hosted by Amal Clooney, Rihanna, and Donatella Versace with a theme of Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination. We saw some bodies, no doubt, but we’re here to talk about all that gorgeous makeup! From bold wings, to angelic body glow- it was a religious affair for sure!
Kim Kardashian by Mario Dedivanovic
I think Queen Kim stole the show with her smokey cat eye and flawless skin which looked amazing with her floor length gold vintage inspired Versace gown. Kim’s flawless glam was created by none other than Mario Dedivanovic. Mario used their collaborative Mario KKW Beauty palette in Albanian and the Dramatico eyeliner stick from her Argenis collab to get her cat eye look! Mario started Kim’s face with an energising skincare routine and used all KKW products to snatch her flawless face.
Sza by Samuel Paul
Saint Sza looked more like a beautiful creature from the most heavenly places in the galaxy! Her metallic, holographic eye looked ethereal with the fairytale of a dress she wore by, of course, Versace! Samuel Paul sculpted her face for Pat McGrath Labs using the MTHRSHP Subliminal Bronze palette in Deep Velvet and VR Violet from the MOTHERSHIP Subliminal patted on the lid. The gold tears give this look the slightest touch of elegant avant-garde on such perfection.
Cardi B by Erika La Pearl
Cardi looked like an immaculate conception at the Met in her custom Moschino gown by Jeremy Scott! She really came thru drip..ing in jewels and her makeup was just as eye catching with an extended wing showing off a pop of blue liner and a deep plum toned cut crease created by artist Erika La Pearl. Erika used all Marc Beauty to create Cardi’s fierce eye and flawless skin and topped the look with $7 Kiss lashes! Cardi was glowin’ all night thanks to the skilled hands on Erika (with some help from Offset…)!
