October MorpheMe Brush Breakdown 2016

What’s up Glam Fam! We’re back at it again with the #MorpheMe brushes. (if you haven’t seen this video, pause what you’re doing and go watch, thank me later.) LGM1: Flat Contour

As you saw in the video, Marjan (@youngcouture_) used this flat and dense synthetic brush to apply chisel her cheeks and contour your forehead with a cream contour. The brushes are flat and dense, which will give you a full and sharp application of product. The synthetic bristles work amazing on cream products, but will also buff your powder contour like a pro. Use the flat top to sharpen your jaw and get a perfectly chiseled face.

LGM2: Small Pointed Powder

Marjan used this super soft egg-shaped brush to bake (the best kinda baking- 0 calories!) and also for blush! The synthetic bristle makes this brush great for blending concealer. The size of the brush along with the density of the bristles will allow you to apply full coverage foundation, too! You can even use it for contour, to carve out those cheekbones. This brush is really versatile, and you are not gonna believe how soft it is until you feel for yourself!

LGM3: Tapered Blending Fluff

Marjan got a ton of uses from this pointed, fluffy eyeshadow brush! She used the tapered tip to deepen her crease. The bristles come to a slight point, which will give you a sharp application of color, while the tapered edges blend effortlessly. You can blend cream or powder products with this synthetic brush! Marjan also used it to blend her nose contour and highlight her cupid’s bow. Fluffy eyeshadow brushes are truly limitless in their uses!

  • I love morphe brushes ? And this monthly subscription is a great way to get new brushes. The only thing that dissapoints me a little bit is that they keep sending similar brushes all the time i receive blending brushes every time and powder brushes i wish they would send an eyeliner brush or a lipbrush or eyebrow brush. Other than that im really happy with it :)

  • I for one agree with everyone else. I would like to see more foundation/powder foundation brushes specifically for the face(base) routine. I have too many eye shadow/eye brushes. I don't want to have to unsubscribe due to too many eye shadow brushes. I love the idea of a monthly subscription and this is my first and only monthly subscription ever and so far I am very pleased.

  • tottaly agree to many crease brushes seems there is always one in the kit. eyeliner/brow brush would be awesome along with lip brush !!

  • Definitely agree on foundation brushes. More fan brushes (thicker) and lip brushes. Ive been a member for 6 months and I haven't received any lip brushes. Also it would be nice if the card we received with the brushes had some actual uses for the brushes. Those cards would be something nice to keep instead of more landfill.

    • Hi Debbie! As long as you sign up before the 23rd of the month, you'll get the current month! So you will be getting October brushes :)

  • Would love to see more "set" type bags each month. Providing at least 1 brush for each area of the face! (Ex...1 foundation, 1 powder/blush/contour, 1 or 2 eye brushes, 1 multitasking brush. Making a 7 piece set every month! ) I love this subscription.
