On Monday, our favorite angels hit the runway in Shanghai for the 2017 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. While it doesn’t officially air until Nov. 28th, we were able to get a peek of the most-watched fashion event of the year thanks to social media. To prepare you for the big day, we’re walking (or strutting) you through some of our favorite looks, and what products you can use to achieve them!
Angel Face
Since the VS Fashion Show is all about showing off the wings, outfits, and models, they like to keep the makeup light and simple with bronze, glowing skin. Starting with your base, add a light layer of your favorite semi-matte foundation. Last year, makeup artist Tom Pecheux used the Max Factor foundation for all of the models, which is actually very affordable and available on Amazon.
To buff the foundation into the skin and get a flawless finish, use the E6 Premium Flat Buffer from our LiveGlam Brush Club, MorpheMe! Finish off with a light layer of your favorite concealer under your eyes to brighten up your face, and a powder to set everything before moving on to the next step.
Angel Eyes
For the eyes, all models wore taupe and brown shades on their lids. The Violet Voss Taupe Notch palette has the perfect shades for this, and will definitely have you looking like a bombshell. Use the MorpheMe E28 Round Blender for soft, diffused color, and bring it below your lash line for a smokey look as well.
Make sure everything is well blended out and angelic! For a pop, add a silver highlight to the inner corners of your eyes. Finish off with a smudged black liner on your top lid, and 2 coats of mascara or natural-looking falsies.
Angel Glow
For your cheeks, apply a matte bronzer and subtle contour. Then grab a rosy, cream blush and apply it to the apples of your cheeks for a healthy glow. To have the light hit your face like on a runway, make sure to apply your favorite highlight on your cheekbones, nose, and cupid’s bow!
Angel Lips
To finish off the look, we need some glossy nude lips! For the fashion show, all models wore Victoria’s Secret Velvet Matte Cream Lip Stain in Adored to get that pinky-nude shade, and a gloss on top. To get this look, our liquid lippie in “Single AF” from our LiveGlam Lippie Club, KissMe, is a must. Wear it by itself, or layer it on top of a lip stain for the perfect, glossy nude finish.
