Hello Glammers! It’s our favorite time of the month again– #MorpheMe brush time! This month you’ll be getting 4 makeup brushes from the Master Pro and Flawless Collections. We can all use a bit of flawless, if you ask me.
We’re sending you fabulous people the M437 Pro Blender/Contour, M431 Precision Pencil Crease, M403 Small Chisel Blush, and M530 Contour Blender. Our how to video with @WesleyBenjaminCarter (SUCH a babe!) can be seen here with the magic click of your mouse!
But, in LiveGlam fashion, let’s go ahead and break it down for ya, also!
M431: As you saw in our how to video, Wesley used this petite natural hair pencil brush to apply shadow to his lower lashline. This precise little baby is perfect for getting into tight places with your shadows and highlight. You can use it to smoke out your under eye, cut your crease, or pop some highlight on your cupid’s bow, inner corner, or brow bone. These sort of pencil brushes are a must-have in your kit, and I would recommend snagging a few to quickly change between shadow colors, or from shimmer to matte.
M403: Wesley used this soft, dense, fluffy brush to sculpt out his cheekbones for that sexy, desirable contoured look. This natural hair brush works so well for carving your cheeks being dense enough to get a sharp line and fluffy enough to blend and diffuse. You can also add a bold pop of blush with this brush. The density of the bristles are going to give you a brighter color than a fluffier brush would!
M530: Next, Wesley got fleeky on his highlight with this small, fluffy, natural hair brush. This brush is the perfect size to apply a bright, but diffused, highlight to your cheekbones. You can get the product just where you need it! And if you want your highlight to be super extra, spritz a bit of setting spray on your face and apply your glow right before it is completely dry. The precise size and fluffiness of this brush also make it perfect to blend out your contour or bake your face! You can never have too many highlight and contour brushes. Your whole look can depend entirely on the brush you grab to chisel your cheeks.
M437: This fluffy, natural hair brush is less tapered which allows you to apply and buff powder seamlessly. The size of it lets you get blush exactly where you need it to be, blending your contour and highlight in the process. Having bristles that are just slightly tapered seriously steps up the blending game. You can also use the edge to create a very sharp contour while diffusing the top into your cheekbones.
As always, with great brushes comes great responsibility. You can set your whole face to fleek with this set, so use with caution. And no two faces are the same, so if you find some unexpected use for any of your new #MorpheMe brushes, don’t be surprised, but do shoot us a tweet or drop it in the comments below and let us know!
If you aren’t signed up for the #MorpheMe brush club yet— go check it out! It’s the world’s first monthly makeup brush subscription and you get $30+ of brushes every month for $19.99. It’s a super fabulous way to start building your kit with quality makeup brushes! The products you use are only as good as the tools that you apply them with.
