How to Achieve a Softer, Natural Glam

Whether you prefer to keep things simple with your makeup routine or going natural means wearing a less dramatic pair of wispies for the day, we can all benefit from learning how to achieve a softer, more natural typa glam.

Here are a couple of steps to guide you through it!

1. Use bronzer instead of contour

We’re seeing more people opting for a healthy, gorgeous glow in favor of the heavily contoured look – and we’re totally digging it.

Ditch the heavy contour for bronzer to add some depth into your facial structure and to bring some warmth into your complexion. The thing is, you can still achieve a chiseled look minus the dark, heavy contour products – but it’s a softer chiseled look.

If you’re someone who prefers a more intense facial contour situation, you can easily grab a darker shade of bronzer or even a medium shade with buildable coverage!

2. Precision contouring

The two things that can make or break your entire bronzer contour situation? Shade and placement. The key here is to choose the right shade to complement your skin tone along with a super buildable formula to help you reach your desired contour look.

Next, it’s all about where you apply the product. When it comes to creating a soft-focus chiseled look, apply the bronzer onto your face in sharp lines and be super precise with your placement. Next, use a smaller face brush to buff out the harsh line – alternating between a circular motion and a forward/backward sweeping motion.

3. Use bronzer, blush, or highlighter as eyeshadow

Put down the eyeshadow palette!

To harmonize your complexion, apply the same blush, bronzer, or highlighter that you’re using on your face over your lids. Replacing your eyeshadow with either of three is a great way to achieve a more natural type of glam, BUT you also always have the option of creating a bolder look by using a damp brush to intensify the color payoff.
