LiveGlam El Paso Donation Update

On August 3rd, we lost 22 precious lives due to a tragic shooting at a Walmart in El Paso, Texas. With many members of our #LiveGlamFam being from El Paso, we wanted to show support to a city so close to our hearts by launching our first ever non-liquid lip product, a Lip Crayon, named “El Paso Strong”, and donating 100% of the profits made from it. We’re so grateful to announce that the check has officially been delivered, and we couldn’t have done it without every single one of you.

Our “El Paso Strong” lip crayon is now sold out. We thank you all so much for joining us to support this important cause in a city that means so much to us. 100% of the profits are going towards the victims affected by the tragedy in El Paso and their families. Dhar, Laura, Leslie, and Alex will be personally delivering this donation, and we couldn’t have done it without you. With the help of our Glammers and Babygirls, we sold out of our lip crayon within 2 hours and were able to personally deliver a $25,000 check to the El Paso Community Foundation. During an emotional trip to El Paso, Dhar and Laura, the founders of LiveGlam, met with victims of the Walmart shooting. Leslie and Alex also joined them to donate 300 backpacks and school supplies to a local school to continue their efforts in giving back to a community that means so much to LiveGlam.

“We rise by lifting others” 🙌🏼 As most of you know, after the El Paso tragedy struck, we wanted to do something to help the families of the victims. With your help, we decided to come out with a @liveglam.co #ElPasoStrong lippie 💄 & with the the help of @leeexlieee & @vlexgalindo we were able to raise awareness about the lippie and raise $25,000 dollars 🙌🏼 @dhar.mann & I flew to El Paso for the weekend so we could personally deliver the donations along with Leslie and Alex. Today we had the pleasure of dropping off the check at the El Paso Community Foundation ( @elpasocf), where the funds will be used to help the families of the victims. The four of us also decided to help out at a local school (Hillside Elementary) by donating 300 backpacks as well as school supplies. Our hearts have never felt fuller. We know no amount of donation can take away the pain, but even if we can alleviate some of the suffering for victim’s families it’s all worth it. We love you guys #ElPasoStrong

This whole experience has shown us how strong the #LiveGlamFam love is and makes us want to work even harder to be able to give back even more! We thank our Glam Fam so much for joining together so quickly and showing their support. Our hearts have never felt more full.

Day 1 vs Today… not much has changed except for Alex’s hair and Leslie’s preggo belly 🤣 – We’ve all worked hard and played hard together… but today was an even more special day because we were able to give back to the people of El Paso- a city that has shown both @laurag_143 and I so much love. Through the support of our amazing #LiveGlamFam we were able to donate $25k to help victim’s of the El Paso shooting and we also personally donated school supplies to help local kids. This whole experience has shown me that making money is great, but making a difference is what life’s really about. We’re so grateful to be able to give back and so thankful for the support you all give us 🙏🏻❤️ #elpasostrong
