Just because your vision isn’t perfect doesn’t mean your makeup can’t be! Your eyes can still shine behind those frames, sometimes you just need a little extra help. Check out these makeup tips to still slay while wearing glasses!
1. White eyeliner on your waterline
Putting white eyeliner on your waterline makes your eyes look large and in charge, especially behind frames. The NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk is a great option for this and the product lasts a super long time! Just swipe this on your waterline and it’ll instantly brighten up your eyes.
2. Eyelash curler
Open up your eyes by using an eyelash curler and volumizing mascara. You may want to stay away from lengthening mascaras because your lashes can annoyingly hit your frames all throughout the day. Instead, try to make them thick and bold instead!
3. Under eye concealer
Frames can create a shadow that can make under eye circles look worse, so make sure to use a good under eye concealer to brighten up that area. The Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer or Tarte Shape Tape are crowd favorites, and the Maybelline Instant Age Rewind is a great drugstore option. Just don’t forget to bake your foundation and concealer with powder so that it lasts all day and doesn’t crease!
4. Eyeshadow Primer
Not only should you use eyeshadow primer on your lids, but you can also use it on your nose to prevent your glasses from sliding down your face! It also prevents those annoying glasses prints from getting on your nose and messing up your foundation.
5. Neutral eyeshadow, Bold lips
When it comes to eyeshadow and glasses, opt for a matte, neutral eyeshadow look and make your face pop with a bold lip. Our LiveGlam Lippie Club, KissMe, offers the perfect liquid lippies for this!

6. Brows, brows, brows
Pay extra attention to your brows, they frame your glasses and your face! For a fleeky brow that lasts all day and will frame your frames perfectly, try the Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow.
7. Colorful Eyeliner
If you like to have fun with color, forget the typical black liner and try some colored eyeliner instead! For example, purple eyeliner looks amazing paired with brown eyes and will make them really pop. We recommend the NYX Vivid Brights liner for great pigmentation and lasting power. Don’t be afraid to wing it out either!
8. Go big!
Larger frames will give you more eye space so people can actually see those beautiful looks you create! While the size and shape of your frames depends on your face shape, try to get larger frames if you want to do more elaborate looks on those lids.
