If you’re a makeup beginner, you may be struggling to figure out what eyeshadow shades look best on you. One of the easiest ways to choose is by basing them off your own eye color! Find out which tones will be a certified slay with our mini guide!
Brown Eyes
With brown eyes, you have the luxury of using a ton of different colors without them clashing with your eye color. However, if you really wanna make them pop, go for purples, blues, greens, copper and golds. Palettes like the Violet Voss Hashtag Palette would work perfectly for you because it has many fun shade options that go great with your pretty brown eyes!

Blue Eyes
If you have blue eyes, earth tones will make them pop the most. Bronze and rust shades will create the perfect contrast and make your blue eyes look even more striking. If you like color, you can also go for purples, reds, and metallics. If you’re looking for a great palette to compliment your mesmerizing eyes, try out the Naked Heat palette from Urban Decay!

Green Eyes
If you’re rocking with green or hazel eyes, browns and golds will also look the best on you. You can also pair them with mauve, pink and purple shades! Don’t be afraid to add some shimmer to really let them do all the talking. The Huda Beauty Obsessions palette in Mauve should be one of your go-to’s for those gorgeous eyes.
