Take It All Off: Best Makeup Removers!

Posted by LiveGlam on Feb 10, 2018

You may be putting on something sexy soon for Vday-

But this post is all about taking it off- your makeup that is! If you’re anything like me, then taking off your smokey eye or cat-wings can be one of the least favorite parts of your day! Not just because it’s fun to strut around like a wispy goddess, but it can be a serious pain in the brush to get it all off! Well, because I don’t wanna see you beauties suffer any longer, I’ve got my favorite makeup removers to make your day a little easier!

Cleansing Oil

If you wear cream makeup, liquid lipstick, waterproof eyeliner or any other ‘will-withstand-nuclear-war’ type products, a cleansing oil will break them all down and leave you soft and squeaky clean! This Shea Moisture Cleansing Oil is my new favorite nightly cleanser when I have a full face beat to tackle. Just use 1-2 squirts, I love how it gets foamy with water and rinses away SO easily! It’s also super natural and great for your skin!

Eye Makeup Remover

Maybe you and bae have a night out planned with the perfect smokey eye- then make sure you have some Bi-Facil eye makeup remover to clean it up in a sinch! This makeup remover is safe for eyes or lips, so you can also use it on your tricky liquid lippies. If you prefer an oil-free option, the Mary Kay works so similarly! I like it for my eyelash extensions- which you can’t use oil-based products on!

Micellar Water

If you’re looking for an agua-free cleaning option, I love using micellar water! This product works very well to cut through most difficult makeup, but you might wanna have an eye-makeup remover on hand for your really committed liners! This is a great option for oily-skinned babes that don’t wanna increase their shine. Follow with a toner to keep your face fresh.

Makeup Wipes

Makeup wipes are seriously the handiest things to keep on hand or when you’re in a pinch or just being super lazy. I love the Yes To brand of wipes- they come in so many options you can find the one that works best for your skin! My favorite is the charcoal wipes, and not just cause they look super cool, but they really cut through difficult makeup! Not every wipe can take off my whole face without leaving foundation residue, but this guy gets it all with 1 wipe.

Taking your makeup off at night, no matter how lazy, tipsy, or tired you are, is always step 1 for good skin! If you can’t manage a whole toning-serum-moisturizer-eye cream to follow, I won’t judge ya, but using these cleansers can help keep your skin healthy! Always check ingredients on your facial cleaners. Look for natural emollients and avoid parabens, sulfates, or fragrances. Stay beautiful, glammer!
