The start of a new year is the perfect time to reinvent yourself!
Get your 2018 started off with a fresh new fleek! I don’t know about you, but I tend to revamp my skincare and foundation routine every few months to stay fresh and try some new things. I found a new (and blue) face mask that makes skin feel ahhh-mazing. Dead Sea Smurf Mask
Start your new face off with this lovely mask! This turquoise blue dead-sea mineral clay mask will have you lookin’ like a smurf, but feelin’ like a mermaid. I noticed visible improvements in skin tone and texture after just 1 use.
Buff Flawlessly
After rinsing off that clay salt mask, you’ll feel instantly refreshed and ready to slay. Prep and prime your face with your favorite toner and moisturizer- I’ve been loving the Thayer’s Rose Petal Witch Hazel toner and The Body Shop Tea Tree Mattifying lotion to get my skin ready for makeup! Then grab your favorite foundation and a buffer brush like the LiveGlam MorpheMe RG8 Flat Buffer from the December collection. Smooth some foundation over your skin to even out your complexion.
Carve & Blend
After you set your foundation with a bit of translucent powder, chisel out your cheekbones and contour your face with the MorpheMe G42 Flat Contour and G5 Pointed Powder from January’s brushes. I use the G42 to line out my cheekbone contour and carve my nose like a sexy little jack-o-lantern. Then I use the G5 to blend out the cheeks and contour my forehead and jawline- this is my new favorite contour brush!! It’s the perfect size and density to for a beautiful blend and the round tapered tip gets my cheekbones on fleek.
Glow Up
Now, it’s 2018 guys, we are all about the glo-up! Get your face shining like a new year with the G39 Deluxe Foundation brush. Sure- you can use this guy to apply a gorgeous flawless foundation or brighten your under eye, but it would be remiss of me if I didn’t tell you how amazing this brush is for highlighter!
