New Product Alert: Kylie Cosmetics Setting Powders!
With Kylie Jenner’s recent major accomplishment of becoming the youngest billionaire in the world, it’s only fitting that she’s launching a brand new product for the company that got her there, Kylie Cosmetics! On March 7th, the young mogul is adding to her face products by launching Kylie Setting Powders. Should you drop your coins on them? I mean… we aren’t billionaires after all. Last week, Kylie introduced 6 new Kylie Setting Powders in adorable pale pink casing on her Instagram. The matte shades include: Translucent, Soft Pink, Beige, Yellow, Dark, and Deep Dark. Kylie describes the setting powders as “Velvety smooth, weightless and gorgeous,” and will “effortlessly set your makeup, balance oils and provide a natural, skin-like finish.”
The powders officially launch on her website tomorrow, March 7th and will sell for $24 each.
Though Kylie says she’s worked hard to get the colors and product right, some eyebrows have raised over the shade selections, especially at the “Dark” and “Deep Dark” shade. In the images, there doesn’t seem to be much of a difference between the 2 shades, however, Kylie has insisted that the shades really are different and will match different skin tones.
Confused about the pink shade? You can use it to brighten your undereye and cancel out darkness just like a pink correcting concealer would. It can also add a subtle rosy flush to your skin for a youthful look.
