    Beauty Foods: 3 Things You Can Eat to Look Good!

    There’s more to looking good than foundation and skin creams- the science of beauty goes much deeper than topical skin care. The foods you eat can even help fuel your vanities! Our list of beauty foods will have you looking snatched and feeling refreshed!

    Hydrate for Health!

    Of course the most important thing you can do is to hydrate your body! We’re made up of 60% water so if your levels are getting low you can start to feel like a piece of dehydrated fruit or the bride of Beetlejuice. Staying hydrated will make your skin plumper and softer, which aids with fine lines, blemishes, and balancing the oiliness.

    Beauty Food #1- Green Tea! Hydrate with green tea! In addition to replenishing your body’s water, green tea is full of antioxidants and polyphenols! These ingredients will help protect your skin from free radiants and sun damage. In turn, this can help in slowing down the aging process!

    Biotin for Beauty

    Biotin is kinda like the beauty vitamin! This B-Complex helps improve the structure of Keratin in your system- which aids in healthy hair and nail growth. Biotin also helps keep your skin with a youthful glow!

    Beauty Food #2- Salmon! Salmon is a superfood with all around health benefits, your face being just one of them! Salmon is rich on Omega 3 fatty acids which help decrease oily skin and acne while preventing wrinkles. It also contains astaxanthin- which blocks UV rays like a sunblock you can eat, and selenium to reduce the effects of aging!

    Lysine for Looks

    L-Lysine is a less-known tool for beautiful skin. This essential amino acid is one of the building blocks of collagen! Collagen is great for improving skin by fighting off acne and fine lines. Stay young and beautiful!

    Beauty Food #3- Yogurt! Yogurt is the perfect snack to improve your health internally and externally! It’s packed with vitamin b6 which improves overall skin health and riboflavin to heal acne.
