4 Glitter Eyeshadow Looks To Try

Posted by LiveGlam on Dec 30, 2021

Glitter is timeless, always having a place in our lives. As kids, we doused ourselves in body glitter and slathered it over our hair. As teens we put it on our cheeks for parties. In our twenties we wear it to festivals and dance in the sun.

In our thirties and beyond, glitter still has a place…and that place is our eyelids! Here are four wearable glitter eyeshadow looks to try, no matter your age, no matter the occasion. For these looks we used the gorgeously glittery Boujee eyeshadow palette

Lavender and Silver Ice

Cool-toned lavender ‘Designer Drip’ works on any skin tone and is just flat-out pretty. This shimmery, glittery shade packed onto the lid and buffed into the lower lash line is ideal for a fresh spring/summer evening look.

To up the glitz, add Glammer Liner in ‘Glammed’ either along the crease, along the upper lashes, or simply dabbed in the center of the lid. Use a clean fluffy brush to blend the edges of your lavender liner for a diffused look.

To give it a little extra dimension, buff a taupe or cool chocolate shadow into the crease and along the lower lashes.

Mauve and Taupe Smokey Glitter

Cool taupe is an underrated shade, in my opinion! One of the all-time best taupe shades is ‘Posh’ from the Boujee palette, with a stoney gray undertone. Buff this shade onto the lid, through the crease, and along the lower lashes, blending thoroughly (cool mattes need a little extra blending time).

Take ‘Flossy’ and pack it onto the inner third of the lid for a little gleam and slight warmth. Then, take ‘Sugar, Sugar’, (the sweetest mauve/multi glitter) and pack it onto the center of the lid. Finish off by smudging black or charcoal liner into the upper lash line and adding mascara.

Sage and Gold Daytime Glitz

‘Diamond’ is a shade that could easily be mistaken for silver, but has the prettiest glittery sage-green tone you don’t often see in palettes. Right beneath is ‘She’s Expensive’, a glittery pale gold shade perfect for daytime glamour. Fuse these two beauties by buffing ‘Diamond’ over the entire lid, with a little bronzer in the crease for structure. Press ‘She’s Expensive’ into the inner corner and onto the center of the lid. Draw Glammer Liner in ‘Legend’ along the upper lash line and add a chocolate-brown mascara for soft daytime glam.

Rosy Pink Femme Eyes

Pink, rosy-toned eye looks are welcome all year round. These tones make green and blue eyes pierce and can be transitioned easily from day to night. Add a little extra depth in the crease and pack more glitter onto the center of the lid when the sun goes down…voila.

For this look, buff ‘Hu$tla’ into the crease and along the lower lashes, buffing out with a fluffy brush. Pack ‘Jet Setting’ onto the lid and fuse it with the color in the crease and lower lashes. Take ‘Rose’ on your finger and press into the center of the lid and the inner crease. Finish with fluffy falsies, plenty of pink blush, and a soft pink lip.
