Top 10 LiveGlam MorpheMe Brushes of 2017

Posted by LiveGlam on Jan 06, 2018

It’s 2018! Time to get those resolutions in order and reflect on things we learned in the past year.

In the spirit of reflect and remembrance, here are my top 10 LiveGlam MorpheMe brushes that totally slayed my 2017! Let’s just say this was the year of fleeking your face, and keeping your eyes blended to perfection. These are my top foundation, concealer, blush, contour, and eye brushes- in no particular order cause I love them all so dearly.

RG6

RG6 Flat Buffer went to you lovelies in December as one of our exclusive holiday brushes! Not only is the red gunmetal casing to die for, this foundation brush is a little face miracle. The firm bristles and flat top are perfect for buffing a flawless foundation. You can use this guy with liquid, cream, and stick foundations, too!

G40 & G38

The G40 Pro Detail Powder and G38 Mini Round Contour (both from the May collection) are a dynamic duo for snatching your face! I use the G40 to buff in my Fenty Beauty foundation and it works like a dream- applying the perfect amount of coverage and blending seamlessly. Then I use the G38 to highlight my under eye with a thick creamy concealer and pat and blend a bit of extra product anywhere I need the coverage! If you wanna look effortlessly flawless, this is the combo.

M444

Now this M444 Deluxe Definition Buffer from June MorpheMe is another brush that I fell for, hard and fast! This is the brush that broke me from my beauty blender obsession and turned me onto the brush life (for foundation!) This brush has very short, dense, and soft bristles that blend your foundation so well! I really enjoyed it over the summer when I needed the extra buffing and staying power that the damp beauty blender wasn’t giving me. It works with all foundation types, too, even powder!

Pk14 & R40

Now when it comes to the finishing touches on your face- the PK14 Tapered Powder from October is the perfect powder brush to get any job done! You can definitely set your face with powder or blend out your contour with this guy, but I am obsessed with it as a blush brush! Hit the apples of your cheeks with the perfect amount of color and blend into your contour areas. Then use the R40 Deluxe Pointed Blender from the April set to pop your highlights in! This large, fluffy eyeshadow blender will have you glowin’.

R39 & Pk36

To get your eyes blended to perfection, the R39 Tapered Blending brush from August and PK36 Tapered Blending brush from October are your arsenal (may sound similar, but they work different jobs)! The R39 is a small, firmer tapered brush that you can use to pack on pigment or get a sharp crease. It’s also a good glitter brush, due to its firmness. Now the PK36 is your blender! Use this brush to soften your crease and create smooth transitions in your shadows. This is my new favorite blending brush- whether I’m smoking out my eyes or doing a simple eye contour, or brightening up my lid with a pop of color, this is my go-to brush.

M207 & E19

Now these are just some essentials that every makeup addict needs in their glam bag. The M207 Sable Angle Liner from July MorpheMe is the perfect angled brush for me! It’s small and pointy enough to get sharp wings and crisp brows, just the way I like ‘em. And the E19 Pointed Lip brush that was sent out in November is a foolproof tool for crisp lip lines! I also like using it with concealer to clean up my edges (obviously, cleaned).
