Hey, glammers!
November is known as the month of giving and being thankful. In order to celebrate that, we wanted to introduce you all to the soul of LiveGlam. For the entire month of November, each LiveGlam team will be coming together, giving back, and giving thanks in various ways. Each week we’ll be spotlighting numerous members of our team to show how they #livebeyondtheglam.
This first week’s theme is helping children in need, and we’ll be spotlighting our Remote team. These team members include those who don’t work directly in our studio in Downtown LA!
Together We Rise
Starting with our lovely LiveGlam Influencer Manager, Kaitlin gave back by making a donation to Together We Rise in honor of it being National Adoption Month:
“The month of November is near and dear to my heart because it is National Adoption Month. My brother and I were both adopted at a very young age and we are extremely fortunate to have been brought into a loving family. Not all children are as fortunate as we have been, which is heartbreaking. I have decided to make a donation in LiveGlam’s name to Together We Rise. This money will be used to help foster children and families in need with general necessities, etc. Take a second to check out their site, just reading some of the statistics alone can be eye opening!” – Kaitlin
Alex’s Lemonade Stand
Next, we have our amazing Business Development Manager, Alex. To help children in need, Alex is donating to and participating in Alex’s Lemonade Stand’s Lemon Run on Nov. 12th to help benefit research and care for children with cancer.
She and the LiveGlam team also donated a backpack that supplies two children with school supplies they need to the Childhelp Backpack Drive in Philadelphia, PA.
Food Donation in Portugal
Our beloved Data Scientist and Analyst, Rodrigo, participated in this month of giving by donating food to a local Portuguese organization that helps give kids an amazing Christmas meal and presents.
Flock of Hope
LiveGlam’s wonderful HR Manager, Melody, donated a “Flock of Hope” to a family in the Philippines with 3 children through Heifer.org. This gives a family chicks, ducks, or goslings, and training on caring for the flock. In turn, the family gets food, income, and fertilization of crops. Egg production beings almost immediately, which means malnourished children will now have something to eat. Eggs and poultry can also be sold at markets, raising much-needed funds for medicine, clothing and more.

Feeding Children in the Philippines
A member of our incredible Customer Happiness team, Belle, gives back regularly, joined by her husband. Her November initiative is feeding over 200 children near her hometown in the Philippines. This month, our entire Customer Happiness team is joining her in donations and support of this gracious act.
Bicycle Angels
Last but certainly not least, our hilarious Server Manager from the Tech Team, Pat, donated to Bicycle Angels. This organization provides loaner bikes and service to kids at no cost to them. This allows them to be mobile, healthy, and continue to learn and explore their areas.
