But (you know us) we’re gonna go ahead and break it down for ya, too–

September #MorpheMe brush set

R5 Pro Pointed Contour: So you saw Karla J using this fluffy and firm, tapered natural hair brush to bake her face, setting her highlight areas with loose powder. The tapered tip of this brush is going to allow you a really precise application of your powder face products. You can also use it to get a sharp contour or dust some highlight across your cheekbones. The pointed shape of these bristles are unique and going to allow an exact placement of your powders.

R37 Pointed Blender: Karla J used natural hair pointed but fluffy brush to deepen her crease and give dimension to her eyeshadow. The pointed tip of this brush lets you put color in an exact area, while the fluffiness is perfect for easy blending. This brush can also be used for an acute nose contour, or to highlight the bridge of your nose, brow bone, inner corner, cupid’s bow or any area you need a pointed highlight application! This brush is going to make it easy to blend your highlight while applying.

R41 Pencil Crease: This little natural hair pencil brush is a great multi-purpose brush! Karla J uses it to blend out the shadow on her lower lashline. The small size and soft, fluffy bristles make it a perfect brush to blend out your lower lashline. You can also use this to add color to your crease. The petiteness of this pencil brush will give you a pigmented and precise application of a crease color. You can also get lit with this one by popping a some bright highlight in your eye area, cupid’s bow, nose bridge– anywhere you want to shine! Being firmer than the R37 is going to allow for a more pigmented pop of highlight.

R38 Round Blender: In our how-to video, Karla J uses this fluffy natural brush to contour her nose. This brush is really an all-purpose blending brush for anywhere you need to apply a diffused shadow or powder. Use this brush for your nose contour, to blend your eyeshadow crease, to contour your lips, to highlight your cheekbones, and the list goes on. Fluffy eyeshadow blending brushes are a great way to get a really poppin’ highlight on your cheekbones–just make sure you blend the edges well! Perhaps even with a larger brush (like the R5!)
